TikTok fined €530 million for illegally sending EU data to China
💶ByteDance, TikTok's parent company, has been fined €530 million by EU regulators for unlawfully transferring user data to China. Ireland's Data Protection Commission ordered the company to halt all illegal transfers within six months.

Bitdefender fined by Romanian authorities for customer data security breach
🛡️ The Romanian cybersecurity company Bitdefender has been sanctioned with a GDPR fine of €10,000, following a breach that occurred during an update operation of the email security analysis service. The programming or implementation error led to the disclosure of personal data belonging to customers.
